Liquid Ice is clear, glossy and sculptural: crystal-clear Lucite hand carved into a smooth, oversized ring with your chosen gemstone or diamond suspended at its centre.

The Liquid Ice shown features an antique cushion cut blue zircon, its watery blue colour floating inside the transparent Lucite like something trapped beneath ice.

I carve every Liquid Ice individually by hand, shaping and polishing the Lucite around your chosen stone. This design is particularly beautiful with coloured gemstones: think blue zircon, aquamarine, tanzanite, sapphire, tourmaline or an incredible old-cut diamond. Antique cuts and unusual stone shapes work especially well against the clean transparency of the Lucite.

The clear Lucite catches and bends the light like melting ice, allowing the colour and character of the centre stone to become the focus. No two rings are carved exactly alike: each one is shaped around its individual gemstone.

It's part gemstone, part sculpture and definitely not your traditional cocktail ring.

Payment

Lab-grown diamond  rings are paid in full upon order.

Natural diamond and gemstone commissions require a 50% deposit, with the remaining balance due upon completion. For exceptional or higher-value diamonds sourced specifically for your ring, the initial deposit may vary.
